I can recall my experience with Microsoft word in elementary school and been using this type of technology till now. Teachers would assignment assignments requiring me to use word and create presentation. I would play around with the font and colors and copy and paste images to create collages. Also I would use microsoft word to right essays and important documentations. As a teacher I would have class discussion on copyright and fair use and what they mean. Then have the students do a group activity finding examples of copyright and fair use. Students should be able to discuss and come with solutions to if or when coming across these topics that is either fair use or copyright. Then the students will create a presentation based on their group discussion. An issue I would make implementations for is cyberbullying. As a teacher, I would have a discussions of topics to stop and report bullying. Or even trying to implement a program that address bullying within all schools.Another te...

  Technology helps build a relationship between teachers and students in a classroom environment. I think this helps with engagement and student interactions. Technology has evolved and has made an impact in today's schools. Technology is great way for students to communicate, conduct research and learn useful life skills.   The standard that I valued the most from ISTE is the citizen standard. This standard is meaningful to me because it represents future model in society. With the help of teachers, students are inspired to contribute and participate actively in the technology world.  This standard has more key aspects of being a model in the classroom environment which is a representation of what Citizens are. Being a good citizen means that you're able to abide by the rules, listen, and treat others how you would like to be treated.   As for being a " digital native" I would agree that I am one. Hi my name is Marglonie but sometimes liked to be called Margo. I was born and raised in South Florida and Haitian American. I oldest of 6 and a first generation. I recently adopted a new pup to the addition of the family. Also I attend Florida State University currently getting my bachelors in Psychology and minoring in Education. I have worked with  technology several times within an educational setting. In classrooms I've worked with with computers, smart boards and tablets. I also gotten an opportunity to work a smart board and used it to present my AP project in high school. I noticed not every school have the same technology due to funding and think that every school from elementary-high school should have this. I hope to learn the advances the advances of technology.The advantages and disadvantages of technology in an educational setting.  What ways to implement positive attitudes towards technology in the class room.
