Hi my name is Marglonie but sometimes liked to be called Margo. I was born and raised in South Florida and Haitian American. I oldest of 6 and a first generation. I recently adopted a new pup to the addition of the family. Also I attend Florida State University currently getting my bachelors in Psychology and minoring in Education.

I have worked with  technology several times within an educational setting. In classrooms I've worked with with computers, smart boards and tablets. I also gotten an opportunity to work a smart board and used it to present my AP project in high school. I noticed not every school have the same technology due to funding and think that every school from elementary-high school should have this.

I hope to learn the advances the advances of technology.The advantages and disadvantages of technology in an educational setting.  What ways to implement positive attitudes towards technology in the class room.

    Hi Margo! I also grew up in South Florida, it is very different than Tallahassee! I concur that not every school has access to the same technology, and it's important that students are able to utilize technology as it becomes more prevalent in our society. I also hope to learn the positivist attitudes of technology, however more so in the work force then in the class room. It is great that you mentioned the disadvantages of technology since this can also be prevalent.

The school website that I viewed was 'Sierra Elementary School'. Comparing teacher's pages, I've noticed that they all have the same content. Some of the class pages that I'd viewed have very detailed page informing students about what's going on in the classroom. Some classroom pages have rules list, supplies list, etc.I've notice classroom pages would implement school policies and codes. Also parents and students can view photos from class achievements, field trips and school events. Classroom page I can envision myself using technology by using it for group activities and presentation. Even try to create a better tool for students to use inside and outside classroom setting. Journal 5

Diigo is a tool that helps bookmark pages from websites and can add notes, highlight and comment on other's annotated work. This tool is also a platform where viewers can see what is bookmark through a feed and can view other people's bookmarked pages too. One thing I like about Diigo is that it's an extension which is helpful  to gain access to when needing the tool. Also, the tool pops up automatically when viewing an article and PDFs. So far my experience with blogging has been pretty good. I am able to express myself more within my blogs about topics. I think the only chanelleg that I might face from time to time with blogging is trying to come up with the right words or even trying to write naturally at times.  A web tool that I can use for my teaching is a website called Dosomething.org. ILP#2

For my ILP#2, I used a social networking app called Wabisabi. Still not sure how to properly pronounce it but this app is very similar to facebook. This site is a platform for educators to share ideas, standards, and make global connections with other educators. Students and learners are able to access teacher's classrooms virtually and access information regarding the class. Voice thread.
