A skill that I learned through diigo is archiving snapshots of webpages. Diigo is useful for collaboration and group activity. This can be used in the classroom to provide extended learning to students. Students can research important topics related to the curriculum and annotate for other students to view/comment.
The next topic I will discuss is how will I use Bloom's Taxonomy in my powerpoint for student learning. The first level of the is knowledge. The topic that will be discuss is how to the conduct experiments and how to test them. The knowledge presented on the topic will be use to inform students. The two levels is comprehension and application. In my powerpoint students will be quizzed at the end through trivia, or a game. The questions being asked will have real life applications for students to critical think of the best solution. The remaining of the levels which are analysis, synthesis, and evaluation will be represented when going over the results of the quiz and students will analyze their answers and compare it with others. Students will then evaluate and write what they've learn from the topic discussed.
One way for teachers to stay aware of the changes of professional development is using different resources such as technology app.Such as an educational blog that updates/informs students on the advances of technology and the whereabouts. Also other ways to be informed is by doing conferences or seminars for teachers to discuss latests updates within the school's curriculum.
A site that I use to stay informed about technology trends is called EdTech RoundUP. This site posts weekly on latest educational technology and advances.

Hi Margo! I loved the website you used to keep up with technology constantly emerging. I hope you have a great break!
