The grade level that I selected to teach is 3rd. The standard that I want to teach would be LAFS.3.Rl.2.5. This standard is focuses on using tools to search in text books. Students must be able to identify and locate information in the online textbook. I think am able to prepare this standard for my students based on my current skill my set by demonstrating this tool through presentation. CPALMs is a website provided for students to gain free access to tutorials online. This resources goes through provides access for levels K-12. This resource is a major toolkit for teachers providing lessons, activities using standards provided by this site.I would use it this as a guide for lesson planning. Working on the newsletter I acquired skills such as adjusting margins, arranging portraits,and columns. I learn how to design my paper with borders, shading fillings and word art. To improve my newsletter in the future, I would try to add more shading and designs so that it's appealing to the students. Also adding more content on what's happening outside the classroom.

    Hello! Thank you for pointing out the tutorial option on the CPALMs website. It is a new website for me and knowing that is helpful to point out to my future students. Also, I love your newsletter. The pastel colors and the formatting are easy to read and follow with. It was something I personally learned how to do with this assignment.

The school website that I viewed was 'Sierra Elementary School'. Comparing teacher's pages, I've noticed that they all have the same content. Some of the class pages that I'd viewed have very detailed page informing students about what's going on in the classroom. Some classroom pages have rules list, supplies list, etc.I've notice classroom pages would implement school policies and codes. Also parents and students can view photos from class achievements, field trips and school events. Classroom page I can envision myself using technology by using it for group activities and presentation. Even try to create a better tool for students to use inside and outside classroom setting. Journal 5

Diigo is a tool that helps bookmark pages from websites and can add notes, highlight and comment on other's annotated work. This tool is also a platform where viewers can see what is bookmark through a feed and can view other people's bookmarked pages too. One thing I like about Diigo is that it's an extension which is helpful  to gain access to when needing the tool. Also, the tool pops up automatically when viewing an article and PDFs. So far my experience with blogging has been pretty good. I am able to express myself more within my blogs about topics. I think the only chanelleg that I might face from time to time with blogging is trying to come up with the right words or even trying to write naturally at times.  A web tool that I can use for my teaching is a website called Dosomething.org. ILP#2

For my ILP#2, I used a social networking app called Wabisabi. Still not sure how to properly pronounce it but this app is very similar to facebook. This site is a platform for educators to share ideas, standards, and make global connections with other educators. Students and learners are able to access teacher's classrooms virtually and access information regarding the class. Voice thread.
