The school website that I viewed was 'Sierra Elementary School'. Comparing teacher's pages, I've noticed that they all have the same content. Some of the class pages that I'd viewed have very detailed page informing students about what's going on in the classroom. Some classroom pages have rules list, supplies list, etc.I've notice classroom pages would implement school policies and codes. Also parents and students can view photos from class achievements, field trips and school events.

I can envision myself using technology by using it for group activities and presentation. Even try to create a better tool for students to use inside and outside classroom setting. Using technology in the classroom help with time management, enforcing positive interaction and communication skills.


My overall experience of the Technology Sandbox was interesting and very cool. For a small room it had so much technology and tools that are great for teachers and students. I noticed all of the tools can implement social interaction among students and can encourage more student involvement within the classroom. One technology that I would implement in my future classroom would be the 'Merge Cube'. This is a 3D virtual cube that students can learn and interact through using their phones as a camera and viewing what the cube holds virtual through different apps only used for the cube. One app that was presented was based on emotions. Viewing this 3D on a camera device, each emotion is presented on different sides of the cube. Students can interact using this by expressing their emotions on how they're feeling.
